Elite 150

This was that board many beginners learned on in the late 80’s.

The Elite was more of an entry level snowboard for Burton.  In 1986 there was the Performer Elite, then in 1987 it became the Just the Elite.  It would last a couple more years and then be gone forever.  By 1988 all Burton’s boards featured a petex base and steel edges.  It came in 2 sizes and had a swallow-tail.  The base was convex at the tail which made it really hard to hold an edge when going straight and the stiff flex didn’t help either.  This board was also available in another colorway which is pretty rare.
