Dan Donnolly’s pro model and one of the best shaped boards of that year. This photo shows the board had been manually cut on the nose and tail to be more rounded but the original board had at more hard lines shape that was unique. The one issue was the board didn’t have inserts and instead used an aluminum retention plate that you needed to drill holes and use self tapping screws with epoxy to secure the bindings to the board. K2 would start to put heli coil inserts in their production boards the next year. Eventually going to the 4×4 insert pattern that became standard in 1993.
